Our Equipment
All of our materials testing is done using cutting edge computer controlled load frames and analyzed using the most up to date software programs.
Testing Capabilities
All of our quality control tests are run by ASTM standards. Using our cutting edge computer controlled load frames we perform the following tests on your cast in place pipe material samples.
Flexural Testing
(ASTM D-790)
Using our computer controlled load frames, we perform a three point bend test on your material sample in order to determine
the flexural properties.
Tensile Testing
(ASTM D-638)
Our technicians affix your samples to a load frame to perform a tensile test, measuring the specimen’s ultimate strength.
Thickness Testing
(ASTM D-3567)
Using a micrometer, multiple thickness measurements are taken per each sample in accordance with ASTM.
What we do with the data
We at STS are proud of our customer service and turnaround time. Upon submission, you will have your testing reports delivered to you within 5 to 7 business days. Test reports are computer generated
and provide the data specified by ASTM standard. Reports may be provided in
hardcopy or in digital format(PDF) for electronic transmission.
